Running a book collaboration for me isn’t about ‘doing another book’ it’s not about ‘smashing a number 1’ it is about bringing together women, creating beautiful relationships. Holding hands, space and hearts so that these women can tap into their past and tell it with confidence, pride and passion.

Writing can be a very solitary process. It all brings up huge triggers and emotions and this is why my collaborations are so powerful and so successful as my purpose is always on the reader and the author and when you connect the needs of the reader with the purpose and passion of the writer magic happens.

Writing is my FIRST LOVE and as a published author, ex English teacher and supporter of women I want to empower and support other women to write their story, but not just to write it; to bring their story to a powerful collective which will be a force for inspiration and empowerment for its reader.

Having now written four best selling books, I know that this will be the most incredible journey for you. This is a collaboration and mentor programme bringing together women with extraordinary stories to share and messages that if we could go back and tell our younger selves we would! Your fellow authors will become your community.

We can't go back and change the past but the over present message of HOPE that no matter what challenges we face success is the journey and not a destination.

This year I was awarded ‘Orange Champion! and I’ll be honest at first I thought, ‘Why on earth have I been awarded this?!’

And then I thought over the awards I’d been nominated for ‘Culture Champion’ ‘well-being’

For the last two years I have been sharing my story and showing how I said NO and reframed my ending.

Last November I was awarded ‘Orange Champion' at She Inspires Awards for my work raising awareness of violence against women, and I’ll be honest at first I thought, ‘Why on earth have I been awarded this?!’

This award was to recognise my contribution to creating a narrative, supporting and empowering women.

For the last three years I have been sharing my story and showing how I empowered myself and reframed my ending.

During Lockdown 2020 I first wrote about my story of overcoming domestic abuse in a collaboration called, 'Pride'.

It is two years exactly since my first chapter in a Book Collaboration launched and I received immediate feedback from women resonating with my story.

I amplified this message in my own book published January 2021, on my courses and in the press.

As an ex English teacher I have 16 years of experience and over 20 years writing experience. Qualifying as a Positive Psychology coach I have prioritised my self development so that I could not just be a storyteller but a voice for change with the support and skills to help out her women.

When I launched my first book I ended up In a state of freeze afterwards and the overwhelm was too much so I didn’t sell anything for another 6 months. What a waste!

Writing the chapter is often the easy bit. Telling people is the hardest! This won’t be a problem for you as we will work on mindset for success, overcoming fears of getting visible.

Meet Louisa Herridge

Louisa, 43 from Warrington is a writer, speaker, survivor and is on a mission as a Business, Writing and Positive Psychology coach to empower women to believe in themselves, to ignite their spark to BE more, DO more and HAVE more in life and business.

She is a three times best selling author and coaches women in business to use their stories of overcoming adversity in book collaborations alongside her business and Positive Psychology coaching.

Louisa has overcome many adversities including: domestic abuse, debt and lived with with chronic pain which led to depression and major back surgery.

Due to a violent assault at the hands of her ex-partner in 2019, she is living with PTSD and experienced burnout and a breakdown in 2019. She left her 16 year teaching career in 2021 creating a new path in life, following her passion and purpose to inspire and empower other women.
